Ingredients:
1 sheet of ready rolled puff pastry
159g walnuts
180ml St. Lawrence Gold maple syrup
1 egg
1 tbsp caster sugar

Preheat your oven at 200°C |Gas Mark 6 | Fan Oven 180°C

Roughly chop the walnuts into pieces and mix with the St. Lawrence Gold maple syrup.

Spread the maple syrup-nut mixture evenly onto the ready rolled puff pastry.

Roll up the puff pastry from the longest side.
5.
Brush the top of the roll with the egg and sprinkle the sugar.
6.
Cut the swirls about 3cm wide and lay them flat on a parchment covered baking tray, giving them space to spread a little bit.
7.
Cook for about 20 minutes or until the pastry is flaky and golden brown.
