Ingredients

Ingredients:

1 red onion, halved and very thinly sliced

30ml lime juice

1 red chilli pepper, sliced

4 peaches, peeled and sliced

1 handful fresh mint

15ml St. Lawrence Gold Organic Canadian Prairie Wildflower Honey

30-45ml olive oil

Buns:

6 bao buns

225g block halloumi cheese

30ml olive oil

30ml St. Lawrence Gold Organic Canadian Prairie Wildflower Honey

Method

1.

Squeeze lime juice over sliced onions in a mixing/salad bowl.

2.

Add chilli, peaches, mint, 15ml honey and 30-45ml olive oil.

3.

Mix well, put aside until serving.

4.

Preheat non-stick frying pan on medium heat.

5.

Slice cheese into six 1 cm (1/2 inch) pieces, drizzle with 30ml olive oil.

6.

Fry cheese until golden on each side, and finish with 30ml honey.

7.

Serve in warmed bao buns with peach salad.
